Voigtlander Bessa with Voigtar 1:4,5 11cm For sale here is a good example of this classic folder for multiple formats, 4,5×6, 6×9 and 6×6. The camera is mechanically functional; the Compur shutter (1-1/250sec. plus ‘B’ and ‘T’) fires at all speeds and sounds pretty good on all times. Self timer is slow, but functional. Shutter blades are relatively clean and undamaged. Aperture blades are also clean and undamaged, setting works well. Bellows is in good condition. Lens door folds in/out without any issues, film door also works as intended. Film door has been modified to also have a red window for another format, approx.6×6, this also include modifications on the pressure plate. Brass mask for the new format is included. The Voigtar lens is in alright condition; there is no fungus or haze, no balsam separation. Modest internal dust. Some faint dirt/haze on front element, should have no impact on image quality. Focusing feel is very good. Exterior condition is very good (see images); modest wear for it’s vintage, no damage. The camera comes with a very nice leather case, in good, functional condition. -What to expect When buying from me you should have high expectations.
