A retired CIA agent is haunted by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares when, after nearly three decades, he is suddenly visited by an unknown man. Production was halted in March 2020 due to government restrictions. During this time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed with and later treated for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. After recovery, the series returned to production. Bridges described the return as coming back after a “long weekend” in a July 2022 podcast.Presented at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards (2024). I had high hopes, but 65% of it is over-the-top dialogue and reactions. We get the point, they are scared/worried/angry. Do not exaggerate. Episodes 1 and 2 showed promise, but they don’t seem to have dropped any montages that would extend the series. They should show it to insomniacs who don’t respond to standard medications.
